No Easy Way Out: Carl Froch demolishes Lucian Bute in 5

IBF super middleweight champion Lucian 'Le Tombeur' Bute came to Nottingham to prove something, and he did. Unfortunately, it was not the result that he wanted to be, as Carl "The Cobra' Froch laid waste to whatever aspirations Bute had as he demolished him in stunning fashion en route to a 5th round knockout in the 12-round championship fight.

Carl Froch's lethal hands proved to be the difference as he attacked the champion right from the opening bell. The bombs were just too much for Lucian Bute to evade as the erstwhile champion absorbed salvo after salvo of the challenger's hard punches with nary a sign of defense in the loss. It was an old-school beating that Carl Froch administered to Lucian Bute, to say the least.
